Neuro Physiotherapy & Pilates in Newcastle

I'm Victoria Dunn - BSc, MCSP. I’m a qualified NHS Physiotherapist based in North East England, currently holding clinics in Northumberland, Newcastle, and Tyne & Wear. I specialise in Neurological Rehabilitation and Pilates.

My goal is to enhance movement control by providing hands on neurological rehabilitation in the community.  Dedicating as much time as you need along with my skills to maximise your potential recovery from your condition.

Since qualifying in 2011 I have gained 10 years’ experience as a Charted Physiotherapist working in the NHS.

For the last 7 years I have specialised in neurological rehabilitation working at Newcastle Upon Tyne NHS Foundation Trust with a variety of neurological conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, Functional Neurological Disorder and long term conditions. I continue to work within the  Neurosciences and Neurosurgery department at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.

I have completed courses in Bobath, APPI Pilates and have experience in spasticity management, orthotics, hydrotherapy and group exercise classes. All of which I am able to incorporate into treatments where relevant. 

My interest are in movement control and recognise the impact that abnormal movement patterns can have on individuals function. My aim is to take a hands-on approach to physiotherapy, working with you to achieve your goals.
